3-Dimensional Bow Tie Block using 5″ squares – Quilting Tips & Techniques 042

This video shows you how to make a 3-dimensional Bow Tie block using 5″ squares. A fun and versatile block. The quilt I show in the video is called Icing on Top and has appeared in the online Quilt Pattern Magazine some time ago, I need to get the pattern on to my website!

  1. Those bow tie blocks are AWESOME!!! Love that black and white quilt! So much fun!!

  2. SusanClaire – thank you! My mom & I did these before my son was born (he’s now 17), and I just could not remember. Unfortunately, she died nearly 2 years ago from Alzheimer’s, and I can’t ask her…. Thanks for helping me remember how.
