ok..I’m new to this and have another question I did a blanket stitch and it dose gather some of the fabric under the stitches wont that make the block smaller? am I doing it right? I hate to do all that work on it to find it’s wrong 😉 wish I could show you a picture but dont see anywhere to up load it 😦 to show you

    • Hi, if the fabric is gathering a bit you may need to put a “stabiliser” behind your background fabric.

I’m enjoying the mystery quilt and getting back into applique. Thank you for doing this! Anxious to see the finished product. Enjoying your tutorials also.

I’m doing this with 2 other friends and we are having such fun. One is doing traditional, one is fusing with machine quilting, and I am fusing with hand stitching. Thanks for the wonderful opportunity.
